EVERY WARE proposes a transdisciplinary approach to design integrating the fields of Architecture, Product Design, Artificial Intelligence, Material Science and Generative Engineering. Seminar projects will rethink the design, manufacturing and distribution of key components and assemblies that make up architecture and infrastructure produced today. The building industry has been slow to integrate and apply new design tools, emergent materials, and advanced fabrication technologies, as well as energy conservation and environmental standards that are reshaping parallel industries including consumer products. By applying end to end process redesign the aim will be to create products, systems and processes that challenge the narrow optimization and deleterious environmental effects characteristic of many existing building practices. This investigation will produce a series of prototypes demonstrating design methodology as well as a family of new products with potential for widespread diss
