Description
This course is a practical application of the Autodesk Revit software through the lenses of digital design, collaborative shared environments, and playfulness. The students will learn the principles of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and implement them through a series of exercises between 3d modeling, data design, and procedural workflows. While taking advantage of the innovative integrations of the cloud system Autodesk BIM360, the class works in a simulated office dynamic. Each individual design decision will define interactions for the larger studio design, creating a reiterative and autopoietic system.
