Microsoft has launched their second generation of AR device Hololens 2 with the iconic keyword of “instinctual interaction” to describe its improved user experience. New features provide noticeably improved tangible and intuitive experiences for users thanks to their hand and eye-tracking system. But what does this mean to us architects, designers, and builders? Will this development change the way we design and shape our physical environments?
In this seminar, we will be focusing on this question, by learning and applying the well-packaged toolsets developed by Microsoft Hololens2 -MRTK-, we will question how we as architects and designers to capitalize this technology and weaponize it in the way we design and make our physical reality.
