Description
This course will cover both the classical period of Indian philosophy as well as its roots in multiple religious traditions of the Indian subcontinent. The textbook for the course will be A Source Book in Indian Philosophy, edited by Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan & Charles A. Moore. Assignments for the course will include a midterm paper as well as a lengthier and revised version of the midterm that will serve as a final paper. As much as possible, assignments will be timed not to interfere with architectural studio midterm and final assignments.
