Description
The first half of the course examines, through a series of creative exercises, the mechanics of past and current forms of
representation. The second half moves from these techniques to the generation of form.
Past Forms of Representation
This course will begin by examining and diagraming major and minor strands of representation as it relates to architecture.

series of short exercises.
Current Forms of Representation
A central argument of this course will be that that the incorporation of time and motion into the repertoire of representation

Etienne-Jules Marey, John Chamberlain, Ed Ruscha, and others, including Zag
