Description
Lessons exist as their own disciplinary stream, related to but quasi-independent of architecture. They are often organized according to pedagogic models that can be carefully crafted to provide disciplined training with contemporary relevance. As such, one can identify in them pedagogic constants, breakthroughs, disputations, reversals, and inversions. This seminar takes up the question of fundamental lessons in architecture, but at one step removed from an immersion in them. Instead, it will consider the notion of architectural pedagogy through the examination and dissection of the lessons themselves.
