    Course Description:
    Eric Owen Moss? Pterodactyl Project ? an office building under construction in Culver City, CA, becomes the primary case study as the ?How to Build a Pterodactyl?? course attempts to offer an insight into methods and benefits of Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), Parametric/ Associative geometry modeling and the value of a well-developed Building Information Model (BIM).

    The course is directly correlated with the Pterodactyl?s on-going development and will be only offered once during the construction phase of the project. Throughout the semester, students trace the efforts of the design team at Eric Owen Moss Architects (EOMA) and are to participate in site visits, discussions on design and fabrication, review of shop drawings and on-going interaction between project architect, design team, contractor and fabricators.
