Description

Visual Studies II forms the continuation of VS I, expanding on the digital workflows that explore the connections between orthographic projection and three-dimensional modeling by means of translation. The course will emphasize the opportunities that emerge in the process of interpretation and analysis, specifically in the context of working from a historical precedent or a library of objects, where the potential loss or alteration of forms becomes a catalyst for innovative expression and projective possibility. In parallel, students will develop a portfolio of work through a series of workshops that will focus on model photography, book formatting, and project captioning.
