All Design Immersion Days (DID) applicants must submit the following materials:

  • DID Online Application Form
  • $25 non-refundable Application Fee (paid online or submitted by mail with a check or money order made out to "SCI-Arc")

Program Dates

June 22 - July 18, 2020

Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm

The program ends with a portfolio workshop held on Saturday, July 18th. Attendance is required. 


$3,350 (includes lunch, field trips, course materials, and studio kit)

International Student Information

SCI-Arc does not issue Form I-20's for students attending the DID workshop. International students attending this workshop will be responsible for acquiring their own visa for the duration of the program.

Need-based scholarship support is available for domestic students whose family income qualifies them for free or reduced lunch. Students must attend a high school located in the United States of America. 

All students applying for a need-based DID scholarship must submit the following materials through SlideRoom:

  • Personal Statement
  • Counselor Recommendation Form
  • Copy of High School Transcript showing GPA

Personal Statement

The Personal Statement should address why the student would like to attend the DID program at SCI-Arc.

Counselor Recommendation Form

Students will be prompted to submit the contact information for their high school counselor on SlideRoom. A request to complete the Counselor Recommendation Form will be sent to the high school counselor. The Counselor Recommendation Form must then be completed and submitted directly by the high school counselor through SlideRoom. 

Copy of High School Transcript

A copy of the student's high school transcript with GPA must be uploaded to SlideRoom.

Recommendation Form

The Counselor Recommendation Form is required for students that are applying for a need-based scholarship. The form must be completed by your College Counselor and emailed directly to
